Hi, I’m Zuri
Zuri is a gentle, timid girl who will need to begin her new life in a small launch room, giving her time to settle before exploring the rest of the house. Large open spaces can overwhelm her, so a slow, steady introduction to her new home is essential.
To help her feel secure, Zuri will need plenty of safe spots-scratching posts, cat trees, cardboard box hides, igloos, and access to shelves or dressers so she can choose high or low places to retreat to. These will help her build confidence at her own pace.
She will do best with a patient, understanding adopter who recognises that she may take a little while to show her true self. Teens or older children who can read basic cat body language and know when to give her space are recommended.
Once Zuri feels safe, she enjoys gentle pats, often leaning in for more, and she absolutely loves chicken. She can be easily startled by noise or fast movements, so a calm, predictable environment will help her thrive.
