Meet Chillie 🌶️

Chillie is a handsome young man with a bit of sass and a whole lot of potential. When he first arrived at the shelter, Chillie was very worried and understandably unsure of the world - and yes, there was a touch of spice in there too! With time and space, he's already shown that underneath it all is a truly lovely kitten.

Chillie will need a home that understands confidence building comes first. He'll benefit from having a quiet launch room for his first few days (or more) so he can settle in, feel safe, and start building trust at his own pace. He may take a moment to warm up, but once he does, he proves to be a sweet and affectionate little guy.

A confident, older cat in the home would be a big bonus for Chillie, helping him learn that people and new environments aren't so scary after all. While older, cat‑savvy kids could be considered for the right family, a home without children would be ideal to give him the calm start he needs.

Chillie isn't an instant‑best‑friend kind of kitten - he's a slow burn. But for adopters willing to give him patience, understanding, and a bit of time, he rewards that effort by becoming a genuinely lovely companion.
