Hi, I’m Benji
Benji is a nervous but incredibly sweet and affectionate boy who is looking for a calm, understanding home. He thrives with structure and routine, and will need a patient owner who is committed to helping him feel safe at his own pace.
Having spent most of his life outdoors, Benji feels most comfortable outside, and indoor living is still very new and sometimes scary for him. He may take time to adjust to a mix of indoor and outdoor life, and while he may grow to enjoy being inside with his family, he might always prefer relaxing outdoors.
Benji can be quite worried in new environments, so it's important that his new family is happy to go slowly, keeping all experiences positive and stress-free. Quiet surroundings, high-value treats, and gentle encouragement will help him build confidence.
He would benefit from someone being home during his first few days to help him settle. Older, calm children who understand gentle handling would suit him best. With patience and care, Benji will form a deeply rewarding bond.
