Hi, I’m Pesto
Pesto is a gentle, sensitive young cat who thrives in a calm and understanding home. She can be timid when first entering a new environment and will need time, patience, and a small, secure starting space to help her feel safe. Once settled, she reveals her sweet nature and will happily approach for gentle pats, rewarding you with soft purrs. Pesto benefits from a home that offers plenty of safe resting spots, including cat trees, scratching posts, and cozy hideaways. She would do well with another confident and kind cat or kitten, as she may be a little hissy at first but warms up quickly when the match is right. Teens or older children who understand cat body language would be most suitable for her. Pesto has lived peacefully alongside adult cats in foster care and may adapt to a calm, social dog with careful supervision. Found as a frightened stray with her siblings, she has made wonderful progress in foster and is now a more confident and affectionate companion who just needs the right environment to continue blossoming.
